EARLY CASE ASSESSMENT
Working with Blank Law + Technology, EDEN-HUB provides clients
with experienced attorneys who understand the importance of careful
Early Case Assessment (ECA). During ECA, we meet with decision makers
to understand the scope of investigation, timeline and budgets.
We work with clients and develop the case strategy to meet the
requirements of each case and the deadlines. This first phase of any
e-discovery matter must be undertaken by professionals who understand
both technology infrastructure and the subtle nuances of each
investigation or case.

DATA COLLECTION
EDEN Members are available to image electronic media,
such as hard disk drives in desktop and laptop computers, mobile
telephones, PDAs, thumb/flash drives and other external devices.
“Imaging” media includes preparing bit-for-bit forensic images of the
data, which retains all deleted and slack/free space as well as all
sensitive metadata.
EDEN Members are trained in the proper methods for imaging
electronic media, as well as the important task of preparing defensible
documentation. EDEN standards ensure that
electronic media will be imaged in a manner that is defensible in any
investigation.
In addition to imaging electronic storage media,
EDEN Members are available to extract select electronic data
from a variety of sources, including file servers, email servers and
workstation computers. We use the highest level of forensic hardware
and software to retain important metadata.
EDEN Members are available to extract electronic data during
an onsite visit to a client’s office or home, or via a remote
connection. All extraction work is completed in a defensible manner and
is supported by evidence-quality chain of custody records.

INVESTIGATIONS
EDEN Members offer expertise that is invaluable in computer misuse or security investigations.
Computer Misuse Investigations
Our investigatory services include: reporting file
activity, reviewing deleted and partially-deleted files, assessing
Internet cache for unauthorized activity and reviewing log-on/log-off
data. We summarize this work in a defensible Report of Investigation
that can be submitted to any decision-making group or court of law.
Security Investigations
We are available to visit a location and assess the level of
security and “weak areas” where a breach is possible. We work closely
with corporations, government agencies and in-house counsels to provide
security services that protect the users from both inside and outside
attacks.
