TRAINING COURSES

EDEN training courses are taught by the experienced attorneys and technicians at Blank Law + Technology PS. Since early 2001, more than 1,000 participants have attended our seminars and courses. Many courses are available for CLE credit.

EDEN offers several types of training courses:

Online Tutorials: These short, educational tutorials teach participants the proper way to handle electronic storage devices, forensically extract data, and complete forms and logs. Technical professionals will learn the best practices for the “hands on” steps of electronic discovery. Online tutorials are available to EDEN members only.

Courses: In-depth courses address legal and technical challenges of e-discovery matters. Topics include Early Case Assessment, Ethics for IT Professionals, and other digital-legal issues. Lawyers, vendors, and in-house IT staff will benefit from the experience of the attorneys and technicians teaching the courses. Courses are available to the general public.

Live Courses: Each course engages participants in lively discussions and explains the laws and professional codes relevant to e-discovery. We teach by the "case method," and our experiences help illustrate the importance of careful, educated e-discovery work. We offer hands-on lessons for all computer forensic courses.

Webcasts: Monthly 30-minute webcasts on the Fundamentals of Electronic Discovery feature in depth exploration of the Electronic Discovery Funnel, providing Tips for Success for each step of the e-discovery lifecycle from Early Case Assessment to Document Management and Production. Live instant messaging and question-and-answer sessions encourage audience participation.

Webcasts are open to the public. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited and advance registration is required. To register, please contact: clopez@edenhub.com and include the word “Register” in your email subject line.
